These musical alligators are made from rain tree wood. The best way to "play" them is to hold them by the tail and stroke the ridges from back to front with the stick. The air has to pass through the mouth hole and under the belly for the best resonance to occur. The measurements are approximate. The 10" alligators are approximately 10" long by 2.5" wide and weigh 150 grams.
