Cowrie Shells

These are 1-kilogram bags of undrilled ringtop cowry shells. The shells are approximately 1/2" to 3/4" long. There are about 650 to 700 shells per 1-kilogram bag. As these are a natural item with varying sizes, assume that there can be a 10% to 15% variation in this count. You will not receive the exact shells from the photos but ones similar. These cowrie shell necklaces are approximately 16" long with dangling strands that are approximately 1" to 3" long.  It has a button clasp at the back.  The shells are approximately 0.5" to 0.75" long. Shell sizes will vary as they are natural products. A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside the USA.

These whole Snakehead Cowrie shells are sold in one 1-kilogram bags (2.2 pounds). The size of these shells are 1"-1.50". We counted the shells in one bag which came to 148.
