These are genuine leather hat bands with a Eastern diamondback rattlesnake skin outer.
You will receive something that is similar to the photos, not the exact item. There are slight variations in each piece as these are made from natural items.
This is a 5/8" (0.625") wide hat band with an upright rattle and rattlesnake skin on just the outside. The inner is a leather backing. The hat band is adjustable.
Please note: The snakes are rounded up each year as they are a physical danger to both the public and livestock. They are humanely killed and everything is used: the venom goes to making anti-venom; the meat is eaten; the hides are used for leather to make wallets, hats, boots; and the heads and tails are used for crafts, jewelry, and decoration. As long as people insist on living in rattlesnake habitat, the rattlesnakes will be removed from their areas.
