These are tanned #1 grade beaver skins without tails. The #1/#2 skins are very nice quality for decoration or for craft projects requiring the best skins available. They do not have any significant imperfections.
If you are trying to make something with the beaver skins (like a blanket or throw or pillows), please keep in mind that the useable size will be smaller than the maximum dimensions.

Beaver are not an endangered species and are not subject to CITES. They are very common in Canada and parts of the United States.
A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside of the U.S.
We do not recommend shipping beaver skins to Germany. We had a beaver skin shipment returned by German customs in November 2012.
