This is a commercial brain-tanned moose leather HALF hide. This quality moose leather half hide was tanned using a method that emulates the traditional brain-tanning process. It has a smoky smell and is supple. This item is NOT Indian Made and does not use real brains. This is a whole hide with some holes, blemishes, and scratches on the leather. Most of these imperfections are near the side of the skin.
