This handmade eagle carving was made from moose antler by Iroquois artist Ron Curley at Six Nations in Ontario in the mid-1990s. Moose antlers have a natural shape that mimics an eagle in flight.
For many years, this was one of my prized possessions. I bought it shortly after starting my business in 1995. It has always been one of my favorite carvings. This was displayed at my parent's house in Highland, Illinois for many years. After they died, I brought this back to our warehouse in Niagara Falls, NY.
Moose are not an endangered species.
