These Texas western diamondback rattlesnake skins are legally harvested in Texas as part of a program to reduce their numbers in the wild. Our selection includes skins with rattles and without, and they are sold in full skins. They are glycerin-tanned and are suitable for making boots, wallets, guitar slings, and gun slings.
These skins are approximately 6" to 7" wide at the middle and approximately 1.5" to 2.5" at the narrowest end.
Some may or may not have minor imperfections.
Before making any items with the skins it is up to the artist or craftsperson to make sure that the materials are suitable for their purpose. We do not guarantee suitability for any project and cannot accept returns once the skins have been cut.
All of our snake skins can be used to make wallets and other leather accessories, but some of our customers prefer our smaller, shorter skins for wallet-making because the patterns on these skins are darker and easier to see than the patterns on our larger skins.
None of our rattlesnake products come from California or Oregon.
Texas western diamondback rattlesnakes are not endangered.
A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside the USA.
