These soapstone war clubs are made by the Iroquois at the Six Nations Reservation in Ontario, Canada. They are decorated with glass beads, tin cones, rabbit fur, deerskin, and rooster feathers.

These 11" kayak hunters are carved from white cedar by Ojibwa artisans in Ontario, Canada.

From start to finish these carvings are done by hand. The Ojibwa artisans source the wood from Sumac trees harvested in Canada and each piece is hand carved. Each carving is unique. The design emphasizes the contrast of the bark pith and the wood grain. The design has a graceful fluidity.
