This is anthracite coal, rice sort, from Pennsylvania. It is sold in one pound bags. Anthracite coal, or hard coal, has the highest carbon content, the greatest hardness, and the fewest impurities. This is "rice coal". Rice is a measurement of size, not content. The pieces of rice coal are 3/16" to 3/8" (4.8 to 9.5 mm).

This is an antique leather doctor's bag that was purchased from a flea market in Quebec, Canada.

These eyes were made in the late 1800s or early 1900s either in France or Germany. They are real prosthetic eyes. Each one is unique. The glass eyes were hand-blown from glass to form the basic eyeball. The iris was made seperately and was then attached to the round ball. The two pieces were then formed into a useable eyeball.The eyes make for great conversation pieces, especially when placed in the bottom of a Martini glass. Enjoy!!!
