These are real snapping turtle skulls. They are approximately 4" long, 3.5" wide, and 3" high. Common snapping turtles are not on the U.S. Endangered Species List. This is a thick and natural half cow rawhide. On the cow skins, there are variations in the thickness of the skin. The neck is very thick and the bellies are thinner. The cow rawhide was de-haired, cured, stretched, and dried. They come rolled up. The Sides (half hides) average between 17 and 20 square feet. The Thick rawhides are 2-2.5 mm thick.
