Cutting tubes are turned from special carbon tool steel and threaded to allow easy replacement. Each tube is individually hardened. It comes with tubes 0, 1, 2, 3, 5 & 7. The throat distance from the cutting tube to the back of the jaw is 1.5". It weighs 14 oz.
