These double-wick abalone shell candles make wonderful party candles! The natural holes along the edge of the shells have been plugged and the shells have been filled to the brim with wax that comes in a variety of scents. The shells are between 5" and 7" wide and 1.5" to 2" deep. They come wrapped in cellophane, and tied off with a ribbon.
The African green abalone shells we use have been edged and cleaned. They have been cleaned and polished on the inside; the outside is clean, but still rough. The shells can be cleaned and used for decoration once the wax is gone, re-filled with more wax, or used as a garden decoration or cactus planter
A U.S. Fish & Wildlife export permit is required for all shipments outside of the United States.
No CITES permits are required. These shells are a by-product of the food industry.
