This 4 strand round braid, sometimes referred to as bolo cord, is used for trim and many types of jewelry. It is made from dyed and waxed cotton cord. It is hand braided around a cord to prevent stretch. It comes in two widths and is put up on 25-yard (75 foot) spools. The 3 mm spools weigh ~4-5.5 oz. The 5mm spools weigh ~1-1.2 lbs.
