The Hungarian merino lamb skins are natural skins denser than the regular Hungarian lambskins. These skins have been alum-tanned, not bleached.
The pile on the Merino Short-Haired Lamb Skin is about 1" long, while the pile on the Merino Long-Haired Lamb Skin is about 2" long.
These sheepskins are a by-product of the food industry. The sheep were not killed just for their skin.
Do not dry clean the skins as the dry cleaning process will remove the natural oils from the skin. See our Eucalan Wool Wash for washing instructions.
