These are real mounted Prairie, Texas Western or Eastern diamondback rattlesnakes.
The X-Small coiled rattlesnake is 4.5" long, 4" wide, and 2.5" tall. One weighs approximately 0.9 oz.

Rattlesnake skin attracts bugs easily. The advice we received from the man who makes these is to use dry heat to kill the eggs and bugs. Put it in the oven at about 130°F for an hour or two. This will not damage the mount and should kill any bugs or eggs. Keeping it in an enclosed case should protect it going forward.
