These fox fur headbands are made for us by master furriers in Canada or the U.S. using premium quality fox tails or fox fur. Each fox-tail bandeau takes two tails. The natural blue and shadow fox bandeaux are attached with an elastic band at the back--one size fits most. Some of our customers like to use the headbands as a "neck guard" to keep out the cold weather. The dyed bandeaux attach at the back using elastic or Velcro®.
The Bandeaux are not available in natural red fox because red fox tails are too weak. The Bandeaux are not available in natural silver fox because silver fox tails are too big and bushy and are also weak.
Both blue fox and shadow fox are from the same species.
None of these foxes are endangered or controlled by CITES, the Convention on the International Trade in Endangered Species.
