    This hide did not fit into our stock colors so we are selling it by the hide as a gallery item. It is a good quality hide.

    This is TOPGRAIN 3 to 3.5 ounce deerskin leather - often called Buckskin as well. It has a smooth side (skin side) and a rough side (suede side).

    We sell deerskin leather by the full hide. Each hide is marked with its size.

    We use these skins to make our bags and laces and consequently stock a good quality craft grade skin. The skins are not flawless, but are not junk either. Expect some holes and/or flaws. If you can work around these, this skin is for you. If not, stick to a true garment grade.
