These fossilized walrus teeth are priced by the pound. You are not required to buy a whole pound. While the counts can vary considerably from lot to lot, there are approximately 50 to 100 small teeth per pound, 30 to 55 large teeth per pound, and 15 to 30 jumbo teeth per pound.
If you wish, we can send a picture of the assortment we select for your approval prior to shipping. The teeth come assorted and we do not high grade just the biggest and best.

This material was legally harvested on St. Lawrence Island in Alaska.
There are no export restrictions on fossil walrus ivory products.
NOTE: We no longer ship fossil walrus products to Germany as we had a shipment of fossil walrus cheek plates seized and destroyed by German customs in December 2013. Germany requires a USFWS export permit for these items, however, we have been informed by U.S. Fish & Wildlife that they do not issue permits for fossils.
