The Atlantic surf clams are native to the northeast coast of the United States. The shells have been shucked and cleaned in cold water. These measure about 4" to 7" long by 3" to 5" wide. Each shell weighs approximately 100 grams.
This species is not endangered. The shells are a by-product of the food industry and come from sustainable fisheries.
A U.S. Fish & Wildlife export permit is required for all exports outside of the U.S.
