The springbok skin pieces available in different sizes.
These project pieces come from good quality #1 grade tanned springbok skins that are very clean with no rips, tears, and holes.
The coloring will vary from nearly all white to nearly all tan with different patterns. You will get a nice assortment of pieces. You will not get the exact pieces that are shown in the pictures above.
The hair side of the skins are quite nice. There may be minor imperfections on the hide side. These slight flaws are usually small holes that have been sewn shut or a slight rip that has been closed.
These pieces are ideal for many craft projects including handbag accents, wallets, trim, etc.
We can also cut project pieces to order. If we do not have enough of a certain size in stock or if you want a size that we do not currently offer, please contact us by phone or email and we will let you know if we can cut more or create them to your specifications.
Springbok are NOT endangered and are very common in southern Africa. They are often hunted for food. In fact, on my trips to South Africa I usually enjoy springbok steaks at a variety of restaurants.
A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside the USA.
