The sheep leather hides range in size from 6 to 12 sq. ft. This is craft grade leather so expect some holes and flaws. Sheep leather has two layers to it and is much easier to sew than deerskin or most other leathers as the needle goes through the hide much easier.

These are good quality shaved sheep leather in prairie gold. The hides range from 5 to 10.5 sq. ft. These are tannery run #2 grade black dyed sheep leather. The pieces are approximately 3.75 to 7.25 square feet. Sheep leather has two layers to it and is much easier to sew than deerskin or most other leathers as the needle goes through the hide much easier. Tannery run grade leather is a mix of grades.
