These are broken or cracked beaver teeth. Please note that we store the teeth in mineral oil to reduce the chance of cracking. All teeth may crack with the passage of time, especially if stored or used in a dry climate. To reduce the chance of further cracking, apply a light coating of mineral oil to the tooth as needed. We cannot ensure that a tooth will not crack with time.

This is a prairie 2.5 to 3 oz. gold reverse deer leather piece.  Reverse leather is bad grain (lots of damage, stains, on the hide side, etc.), with a good suede side.
